Overview As voice, video, and data converge on the network, deploying MPLS routers can help guarantee adequate bandwidth to each of these applications. But to truly ensure quality of service, one must understand the network, whether the MPLS is directly under one's control, or under that of a contracted service provider. Both scenarios require sophisticated network analysis tools to isolate problems to specific parts of the infrastructure. If deploying MPLS in-house, an analyzer that can see and decode MPLS labels is essential to successful deployment and maintenance.
