Securing Your WebSpeed Application With an Internet Firewall

Overview There are several steps one must follow to implement a security strategy to protect a Web site. These steps are based on the security policy one have developed for the Web site, which is turn based on the needs of both outside and inside users. Some of these security measures are: perimeter defense for the site (a firewall), user authorization, user authentication, and/or encrypting network traffic at the site. Each type of access must be considered when one put together an overall security policy for a Web site. This paper will delve into these security topics.
