College Saves More Than £125,000 With Dell Consolidated Print Environment

Overview Colchester Institute is a major provider of further education, higher education and vocational training in Essex in the UK. The Institute wanted to replace its complex, multi-vendor print environment with a new, consolidated solution. They also wanted to reduce the cost of print consumables, streamline network management, and ensure that students used College printers for academic purposes only. Colchester Institute deployed Dell to replace 400 devices sourced from multiple vendors with 275 new Dell printers on a four-year lease. The College deployed a third-party print management utility to control printing by students and employees. It also procures consumables centrally through Dell Premier Pages.
