GameRail Chooses Dell and Achieves Up to an 80 Percent Reduction in Latency for a Faster Gaming Experience

Overview Founded in 2006, St. Louis, Missouri-based GameRail has been working to solve online gamers connectivity and gaming quality challenges. To minimize the possibility of service quality degradation before users reach the GameRail network, the company must locate gateways in optimal locations known as carrier hotels. The company deployed Dell for its solution and implemented Dell PowerEdge SC1435 servers combined with routers from Foundry Networks which provide the performance to intelligently route online gaming traffic from user to game server in a form factor that helps GameRail scale to meet demand.
