Bay Area Insurance Reduces Document Processing Times With EMC Captiva QuickScan Pro

Overview Bay Area Insurance Agency is a Maryland-based independent insurance agency focusing on commercial line insurance for businesses and business owners. Previously, Bay Area Insurance used document imaging software that the company purchased for the purpose of imaging its customer files. The software was integrated with the company's customer database but did not permit the scanning of documents to specific accounting folders. Bay Area Insurance wanted a solution that would automate the processing of accounts payable, accounts receivable and licensing administration documents. The company deployed EMC for its solution and purchased a Xerox scanner enabled with a demo version of EMC Captiva QuickScan Pro.
