Dell Helps Missouri Southern State University Bring the World to Students

Overview Missouri Southern State University has grown to 5,500 students and more than 500 faculty and staff members. The university depends on up-to-date technology to help its students develop a far-reaching understanding of the world. The University wanted to upgrade from a mainframe computer that handled the university's academic and administrative functions to a more efficient and powerful server environment. Missouri Southern State University deployed Dell for its solution. Dell servers running Oracle SCT Banner Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software helped the university manage important functions from online enrollment and human resource tasks to financial aid administration and Web access across campus.
