Overview SBC wanted to rapidly size and address the national and global large-enterprise market for network-based MPLS service and develop an MPLS service offering strategic business plan as well as go-to-market plan. The challenge was to educate salesforce on the value of MPLS service offering. As a solution SBC took advantage of Cisco Internet Business Solutions Group (IBSG) global expertise to identify current and future MPLS market opportunities. Developed a comprehensive value proposition for MPLS and collaborated with Cisco to educate the salesforce, the suppliers, and customers about quality-of-service potential of Multiprotocol Label-Switching (MPLS) technology.
