Overview Since the inception of NEC Hong Kong Ltd in Hong Kong in 1984 as primarily a computer and communications supplier, NEC Hong Kong Ltd. has evolved with the times and today has emerged as the territory's premier business solutions provider for a wide range of industries. Security was more important for them as data travels outside the boundaries of the company's secure offices. NEC headquarters selected the Check Point Pointsec solution because it was proven in all types and sizes of organizations worldwide, could centrally manage thousands of devices, and complied with worldwide data encryption and regulatory standards.
