As a solution Houghton International migrated Oracle database and Microsoft Exchange e-mail systems to Dell PowerEdge servers; consolidate application servers on Dell PowerEdge blade server; implemented VMware ESX Server virtualization software; centralized storage on a Dell/EMC SAN; deployed Dell Precision workstations, Dell OptiPlex desktops, and Dell Latitude notebook computers with Intel processors.
