Overview Gates Corporation wanted to improve worker productivity, increase the efficiency and effectiveness of Gates' Worldwide IT Group and provide a significant return on investment for the company. The challenge was to provide the functionality, manageability and security required to replace BlackBerry. Gates Corporation deployed Good Mobile Messaging running on the 2125 SmartPhone, 8125 PDA and Treo 650 with voice and data service from Cingular. These integrated devices give Gates' employees real-time synchronized access to e-mail, calendars and contacts along with phone and PDA capabilities. This improved worker productivity, increased efficiency and effectiveness of the Global IT Group and a significant return on investment for the Gates Corporation.
