Bank Cuts Project Management Time by 25 Percent and Increases Employee Productivity
Overview Founded in 1914, Banco Nacional de Costa Rica (BNCR) is the largest state-owned bank in Costa Rica, with more than 1.3 million clients. It is subject to a very high level of accountability from oversight offices and the people of Costa Rica. A key part of meeting these expectations is effective project management within the organization. BNCR needed a way to gain greater visibility, efficiency, and accuracy in project management. In November 2006, BNCR teamed up with Microsoft Certified Partner EPMWorks to implement Microsoft Office Project Server 2007. BNCR currently has 76 projects managed with Office Project Server 2007. BNCR project directors have cut their project management time by 25 percent, spending less time and getting better results.
