Overview Teradyne is a leading worldwide supplier of Automatic Test Equipment for complex electronics used in consumer, automotive, computing, telecommunications, aerospace and defense products. To meet expanding industry challenges, Teradyne sought a way to better manage the growing numbers of test specifications, methods, and dependencies, while lowering per-unit test costs. Teradyne switched from a Unix-based solution to a programming use model, based on Microsoft Office Excel and Visual Basic for Applications, and integrated with specialized Teradyne-written tools.
