Overview WiMAX (Wireless interoperability for Microwave Access) is a broadband wireless access technology that gives users an alternative to access broadband services - specifically high-speed internet access. WiMAX is an international standard for delivering voice, video and data over microwave RF (Radio Frequency) spectrum to stationary or moving users - thereby making broadband communications available virtually anywhere.
