Overview UK Internet Service Provider (ISP) RapidSwitch is achieving continued growth through a service offering that is highly flexible and reliable. To ensure that RapidSwitch achieves its business goals, managers depend on a 1,100-strong server estate delivering a variety of services, including online radio, from a hosted data-centre based in London. The company may need to secure a new delivery of 30-plus servers. The company looked to roll out a standards-based tower server solution that delivered dual-core processing power, and could be deployed easily. Dell proposed the Dell PowerEdge SC430 server. Through using hardware such as Dell PowerEdge 1650s, Dell PowerEdge 1750s and Dell PowerEdge 1850s, it knew that the standards-based hardware delivered high performance, superior reliability and cost-effective management.
