Overview TFDS is one of Norway's leading cruise and travel companies. It is continually refining its business model to meet customers needs. The company recently identified the need to reorganize the way that customers book and pay for their cruise services. Until now, customers could make a reservation for their port-to-port sailing, cruise, conference or any of TFDS' other services either through their local travel agent or over the telephone. There was also an Internet booking service. TFDS has standardized on BEA WebLogic Integration, BEA WebLogic Portal, BEA WebLogic Workshop and BEA JRockit as part of an overall Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA). The result is a showcase self-service reservations solution.
