Overview Italy's leading information and Communications Company, Telecom Italia had to replace complex, expensive mainframe environment and integrate fragmented broadband service provisioning and delivery application. In order to meet the needs of Telecom Italia's growing customer base and help process thousands of broadband service orders per day, BEA and Granite Systems teamed to develop and deploy a next-generation network infrastructure for the tier-1 carrier. Using BEA WebLogic Integration, together with Granite's SRM solution, Telecom Italia has deployed a dramatically more efficient system designed to receive customer orders, perform automated design and assignment of its circuits, and services.
