World-Class Insurance Customer Relationship Management in the Czech Republic

Overview Ceska pojistovna is a universal insurance company with an extensive and rich tradition (since 1827) in life and non-life insurance. They had a clear vision, to create a single, consolidated, and multi-channel view of clients on the 13 million insurance policies it administers. To achieve this, the company needed to overcome traditional islands of information scattered across the insurance business. Ceska pojistovna has created the Unified Customer Service (JOK) Framework - which means 'Customer-centric' and single user front-end in Czech - to launch a standard development platform, based on J2EE standards, design patterns, and BEA products.
