Overview Communicating across seven sites in the UK and one in New Zealand was expensive for Barrons-one of the largest outdoor retailers in the UK. They have a branch office in New Zealand. Communication between all these locations was becoming unmanageable and costly, and the company needed to find a solution that would allow them to cut costs and control everything from one location. To effectively address these challenges, Barrons chose the 3Com Unified Gigabit Wireless PoE Switch 24 system and 3Com Wireless 8760 Dual-Radio 11/a/b/g PoE Access Point to economically extend converged communications from a single point on the network to wireless users accessing the company's LAN from any remote location.
