Overview Solo Cup is the Mexican subsidiary of the Solo Cup Company. It has wide experience with plastic, paper, and disposable foam products. Solo Cup wanted to replace obsolete information systems with a solid and reliable IT infrastructure for quick and timely information availability and automate business processes to consolidate operations among branches in the United States and Mexico. The challenge was to standardize processes to accelerate operations and increase the company's competitiveness and make manufacturing and inventory processes visible to reduce production and warehousing costs. Solo Cup worked with ERP Soluciones and Oracle Consulting to implement Oracle E-Business Suite applications for financial management, manufacturing, and inventory - making reliable information visible throughout the company.
