The Sun Java Wireless Toolkit was customized to provide a more accurate environment for developers to create applications on the Sprint network and for Sprint devices. New features and utilities simplify application development for specific devices and add development flexibility. Customization items include emulation of Sprint devices and APIs as well as new usability features added especially for Sprint Nextel developers.
