Overview Integrated Trade Systems (ITS) provides procurement services for Mexican-owned PEtroleos MEXicanos (PEMEX), the sixth largest oil company in the world. ITS needed a fast, efficient way for PEMEX's buyers to send purchase orders to suppliers all over the world, and for ITS to confirm and execute the orders with these suppliers. The company also needed a solution that would work with their UNIX platform and custom purchasing system. ITS integrated their purchase order system with BDS using the BDS API, so purchase orders could be delivered to their vendors automatically and did not require any involvement by ITS staff.
