SOA Programming Model for Implementing Web Services, Part 1: Introduction to the IBM SOA Programming Model

Overview The IBM programming model for Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) enables non-programmers to create and reuse IT assets without mastering IT skills. The model includes component types, wiring, templates, application adapters, uniform data representation, and an Enterprise Service Bus (ESB). This is the first in a series of papers about the IBM SOA programming model and what is required to select, develop, deploy, and recommend programming model elements. The content presented here takes into account that developers come to this model with different skill levels and roles.
