Activating z890 and z990 Cryptographic Services for WebSphere
Overview This paper provides instructions for activating the cryptographic hardware on IBM 2084 and 2086 mainframe. References to the appropriate manuals are also included. WebSphere Versions 4, 5 and 6 for z/OS use the cryptographic services for Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) support as well as optionally to encrypt and decrypt the security token used in form based authentication.
