Overview For customers who have installed or are considering the installation of a Peer to Peer (PtP) Virtual Tape Server (VTS) subsystem for business continuance, the standard management algorithms of the subsystem may not meet all of their business recovery needs. To better meet those needs, the following aspects of the PtP VTS management algorithms can be tailored by the IBM service representative. Some of the controls are specific to each VTS and some are specific to each Virtual Tape Controller (VTC).
