Remote Install of Red Hat Enterprise Linux on IBM X3 Servers
Overview This paper is intended to present the general steps necessary to successfully install Red Hat on IBM X3 servers. This paper refers to the x366 and x460 servers as X3 servers. The impetus behind the paper is twofold. First is to attempt to streamline the initial setup of these servers. Secondly, there are known challenges in getting Red Hat Linux installed on these machines in a remote or "Lights out" environment, so the intent is to provide pointers to make this process go more smoothly.
