WebSphere Application Server for z/OS: Migrating to Version 6.1
Overview WebSphere Application Server for z/OS V6.1 is IBM's latest offering of the application server on the z/OS platform. And like previous versions and releases, V6.1 comes with a utility that will migrate previously-built configurations to the V6.1 level. Migrating a WebSphere for z/OS cell to V6.1 involves customizing a set of batch jobs and then running those jobs to migrate a node. Customization is done using a set of ISPF dialogs. Each node in a cell will have its own customized jobs; a cell is migrated node by node, starting with the Deployment Manager node.
