Repetitive Task Management on Multiple Linux Images
Overview Often, it is desirable to perform tasks remotely on a Linux system(s) without actually doing a manual log in. This may be especially true when a specific set of repetitive tasks needs to be done on one or more systems. In this paper, examples will be discussed to illustrate how this can be accomplished with the use of readily available tools. These tools can range from the very simple to the more complex, but all tools referenced in this paper are relatively easy to implement and detailed examples are provided for the code and execution. In the cases of 'C' code, both the source code and compile commands are provided.
