IBM System Storage DS4800 8000 Mailbox Exchange Server 2007 Storage Solution
Overview This paper provides information on IBM's storage solution for Microsoft Exchange Server 2007, based the Microsoft Exchange Solution Reviewed Program (ESRP) - Storage program. This paper describes an Exchange storage solution for 8000 users on the IBM System Storage DS4800 array. The tested solution consists of one IBM System Storage DS4800 dual controller attached to 3 fibre channel EXP810 storage expansion arrays, for a total of 48 disks. The DS4800 maximum configuration offers up to 67 TB of fibre channel (112 TB SATA) disk storage capacity with up to 16 Storage Expansion Units & 224 drives.
