Voice - Data Integration White Papers

Connecting to External Information Sources With WebSphere MQ

Overview This paper shows how to use WebSphere MQ to connect internal business applications to external information sources without the complexity of getting access to corporate firewalls. IBM WebSphere MQ (hereafter called "MQ") is often used to provide a secure, reliable, and scaleable connection between information providers and information consumers. This paper introduces a scenario involving interaction between two business applications, and shows how to set up an MQ connection between MQ Server and MQ Server to enable communication without VPN services.
