Finnish Technology Company Standardises Development Work With Software Upgrade
Overview FRENDS Technology, based in Finland, provides system integration software solutions to a broad range of international customers across a number of vertical sectors. Originally, FRENDS manufactured its own server product, but, in 2005, it implemented Microsoft BizTalk Server 2006 as the base for its solutions. As a user of Microsoft Visual Studio 2003 for its development work, the company was keen to upgrade to Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 and take advantage of its new features. FRENDS Acc, the company's main product, is based on BizTalk Server 2006. Working in Visual Studio 2005, developers found they could conduct all development work efficiently with a single tool. Visual Studio 2005 is also used as the design environment in customer integration projects.
