Financial Services Distributor Connects 2,500 Advisers With Easy-to-Use Portal Solution
Overview Openwork, based in the United Kingdom, is a stand-alone, multi-tied distribution network of approximately 2,500 financial advisers. The company required a complete back-end architecture to manage its complex communication and data management processes. It also needed an easy-to-use, cost-effective portal application to provide its advisers with news, services, and information. After evaluating a number of solutions, Openwork deployed Microsoft Office SharePoint Portal Server 2003, running alongside Microsoft BizTalk Server 2004 and Microsoft SQL Server 2000 to create this new architecture. Openwork has seen its users rapidly adopt the portal solution. It saves them considerable time and resources and helps ensure that advisers and Openwork remain fully compliant with the latest Financial Services Authority regulations.
