ERP Provider Upgrades Solution for Contemporary Look, Easy Customization
Overview While Verticent has always been proud of its user-friendly Windows-based user interface, Verticent executives were conscious of the need to keep that interface up-to-date and consistent across the application in order to keep the application attractive to customers. But Verticent found limits to the visual appeal it could introduce with PowerBuilder. Worse, it was difficult for customers to update the user interface dynamically to meet changing business requirements - such updates were time consuming and expensive. To address the user interface issues, the company turned to Microsoft NXT Delivery Partner Proteans. The company helped Verticent to develop a new user interface based on the Microsoft .NET Framework version 3.5 and the Microsoft Office Fluent user interface.
