Insurance Agency Prepares for New IT Projects, Realizes Savings Through SAM
Overview As one of the largest insurance agencies in the United States, Lovitt & Touche realized that outsourcing the IT requirements of the company was no longer effective. The company moved IT resources back to an internally supported model and quickly saw the need to implement a more structured Software Asset Management (SAM) strategy. The IT department had a number of vital projects planned for the next three years and wanted to gain control of the IT infrastructure to prepare for changes. Partnering with Cynthia Farren Consulting, Lovitt & Touche implemented a strategic SAM plan, and is able to more effectively manage the company's IT assets while providing justification for future IT investments.
