Process Anti-Patterns: How to Avoid the Common Traps of Business Process Modeling, Part 2
Overview This paper is the second in a series describing typical modeling errors extracted from hundreds of actual process models created in different tools, including IBM WebSphere Business Modeler. Part 1 discussed anti-patterns that occur when one needs to describe branching and iterative behavior in a business process model. This paper addresses the modeling of data flow, events and triggers, the correct termination of a process, and the reuse of activities in hierarchical process models.
