New Process for Sharing Data Helps American Tower Monitor Sales Trends

Overview American Tower Corporation (ATC) is a leading communication infrastructure company in North America. To keep pace with rapid expansion of its wireless and broadcasting infrastructure business, the company needed a standard method to collect, disseminate, and report on sales data gathered from the field. Working with Microsoft Consulting Services (MCS), American Tower is deploying a Microsoft Office System solution built on Office InfoPath 2003 and Windows SharePoint Services. American Tower created one InfoPath form containing three different views for sales team meetings, customers meetings, and national sales conference calls. A SharePoint site serves as a central repository for all sales data. Features such as improved search and data validation provide executives with enhanced insight into the sales organization.
