Nonprofit's Database Management Twice as Productive With Enhanced Functionality

Overview With a fairly complex and growing customer relationship management database to maintain, The National Bureau of Asian Research (NBR) sought to enhance the flexibility of its Microsoft SQL Server 2000 - based database by adding features such as improved reporting capabilities. NBR also wanted to automate some of its manual processes and do a better job of keeping appropriate internal and external users informed of changes. The organization found that SQL Server 2005 met - and even exceeded - all of its needs. As a result of implementing SQL Server 2005, NBR has been able to quickly assess and deploy features and tool sets that have improved information quality and the ease with which information can be disseminated.
