About Ways to View a Word Document
Overview Microsoft Word has different ways for the user to get a good view of the work, depending on the task at hand. One can't set a default for all documents that one views in Word, because the view setting is stored with each individual document as a document property. One can save the document in the view with which one wants it to open. Documents that one receives from others will open with the view in which they were previously saved.
