Tivoli Workload Scheduler on z/OS: Using Negative Run Cycles

Overview For a TWSz application to be automatically included in the Long Term Plan (LTP) and therefore, automatically added to the Current Plan (CP), it must contain at least one run cycle in the application itself or in the group definition. Additionally, the "in-effect date" of the run cycle must be within the range of the LTP and subsequently the CP. It is very typical for a scheduler to create normal run-cycles indicating when an application is to be added to the schedule.
