Overview The purpose of this paper is to assist those who are implementing Oracle Real Application Clusters on SuSE Linux Enterprise Server 10 running on IBM BladeCenter servers and IBM TotalStorage disk storage systems. The paper describes activities needed to prepare for and successfully install SuSE Linux Enterprise Server 10 64-bit and Oracle 10g RAC 64-bit on IBM BladeCenter servers and IBM TotalStorage Disk Systems. The operating system environments described will be the 2.6 kernel-based Novell SuSE Linux Enterprise Server 10 (SLES10).
