Overview This paper details the procedure to perform physical to physical image migration based on Windows 2003 operating system from an HS20 (8843) 2-socket dual core blade to an IBM HS21-XM (extended memory) 2-socket quad core blade. The PlateSpin PowerConvert's Operating System (OS) portability technology is used for the migration. The operating system, applications, and data can be automatically migrated from a source machine to a target machine.
