Installing Linux and Oracle9i RAC on IBM BladeCenter
Overview This paper helps installing Oracle9i Real Application Clusters (RAC) on an IBM BladeCenter. It describes activities needed to prepare for and successfully install Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS 2.1 and Oracle9i RAC on BladeCenter servers. The shared storage subsystem consisted of an IBM FAStT900 Storage Server and two IBM FAStT EXP700 Storage Expansion Units. First, it describes the installation of a 2-node RAC cluster, and then the procedure for adding a third node.
