EXPORT and IMPORT for XML Data Type Support

Overview DB2 customers commonly use Export and Import utilities to move data in and out of DB2 databases. With the DB2 V9.1, these utilities now support the XML data type. EXPORT extracts data from database tables and puts it in a data file in different formats. IMPORT can use the input data file and populate the database tables. With these two utilities, users can extract data from one table and put it into different databases or tables without typing data all over again.
