Overview Microsoft Office Accounting stores data in a Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express database, which is installed along with the product. However, if one is using Office Accounting in a multiuser environment, he or she may want to use the full version of Microsoft SQL Server that is available with Windows Small Business Server (Windows SBS) R2.
