HP Application Recovery Solution for Microsoft Windows 2003, Exchange 2003, and HP StorageWorks EVA8000 White Paper

Overview HP Application Recovery Manager Software (AppRM) is a solution for backup and recovery of business application data designed to improve the efficiency of the IT resources. AppRM, Powered by HP Data Protector Software technology, delivers a standalone solution to augment the existing backup software strategy. AppRM can be used to schedule non-disruptive predictable Zero-Downtime (ZDB) backups. The most recent backups are stored online using either Fibre Channel or FATA disk targets while older archives can be streamed as flat files to tape and used if necessary for recovery of hard deleted messages or mailboxes.
