SAS/AF: Running SCL Outside the Frame
Overview SCL is a powerful programming language that has been part of SAS for many years. People use SCL for many reasons; some people like to use the power of SCL instead of the SAS data step language. This paper gives a very brief overview of SCL and discusses creating batch SCL programs. A batch SCL program can be easily moved into a stored process. The paper covers stored processes and the steps necessary to run SCL programs as a stored process.
