iSCSI Simplifies Storage Area Networks
Overview Medium-size and enterprise-level business continue to experience expanding network storage capacity needs. This need for more capacity stems from a variety of causes. E-mail traffic volume, number of attachments and attachment sizes continue to increase. Collaborative work environments, databases, and multimedia usage further increase traffic and storage requirements. A new storage paradigm, referred to as "unified storage," is emerging, in which iSCSI SANs will play a prominent role.
