The organization needed a solution that would allow them to use more of the inexpensive thin clients to access network applications from off-site locations, such as a remote office site or an employee's home. They also wanted to store data centrally and to improve disaster recovery. They deployed Windows Server 2008 for virtualization and Terminal Server.
