Marketing Services Firm Develops Clear Access to Remote LOB Applications
Overview National Marketing Resources is a 450-employee firm based in Kearney, Missouri, that provides sales and consulting services for entrepreneurs and small businesses in real estate investment and e-commerce. They needed to train new associates in the process of logging in to a new desktop and helping them understand the difference between their own desktop computer and the terminal server also needed to move hosted applications, helpdesk calls elevated. Midwest Technology Connection deployed the upgrade on Intel-based Dell servers, whose multi-core processors will enable future virtualization and server consolidation. Depending on the server role (application, database, or file and print server), TS RemoteApp, Terminal Services Gateway (TS Gateway), Terminal Services Licensing, and Terminal Services Web Access were installed as appropriate.
