Move From Linux to Windows Server Improves Reliability for Building Materials Provider

Overview Building materials provider Western Materials had a Linux-based solution for file, print, Virtual Private Network (VPN), and e-mail services that was unreliable, required constant support, and didn't integrate well with mobile devices. The company addressed those issues by migrating to Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 running on the Windows Server 2003 operating system. Deployed with help from Parsec Computer, the new solution has improved productivity and reliability and reduced spam. In addition, the company enjoys better support, is more self-sufficient at maintaining its IT infrastructure, and can make better use of its IT budget.
