ISA Server 2006 Virtualization Licensing
Overview Virtual Machine (VM) technology can provide a number of significant benefits to the organization, including optimized hardware utilization, better business continuity, and a more agile infrastructure. With VM technology, one can extend hardware infrastructure by running multiple operating system environments on a single server or other hardware system. Microsoft has developed licensing models that enable to take advantage of the benefits and capabilities of VM technology.
